Idaho Commissioner Faces Poaching Charges and Trespassing
Idaho Fish and Game commissioner Brody Harshbarger is facing several charges for poaching elk in the Upper Snake Region. The commissioner, who represents eastern Idaho's sportsmen and women, could lose his hunting privileges if convicted. The charges include unlawful take of game, hunting without a tag, and private trespass. Harshbarger had already filled his elk tag the weekend before the incident, and neither he nor the man with him had permission to be on the private property where one elk was found.
