Guide Catches Massive Bass During Client's Break

A part-time bass guide in West Texas caught a massive 13-pound bass while his client was taking a break. The guide used forward-facing sonar to locate the fish in deeper water and landed it using a swimbait. The bass was donated to the state's hatchery program as part of the ShareLunker program. This is the guide's second bass over 13 pounds donated to the program. The fish was weighed at 13.12 pounds and measured 24.5 inches long with a 20.5-inch girth.
