Volunteer Led Program Introduces New Duck Hunters to the Sport
A volunteer-led program has introduced over 100,000 new duck hunters to the sport since 2003. The program, called First Hunt, helps mentees learn the basics of duck hunting, including how to identify birds and handle a gun. The program also teaches the importance of habitat and conservation, and it's led mostly by volunteers.
