September New Moon Fishing Forecast
As fall arrives in Rhode Island, the fish are feeding heavily on abundant bait, including peanut bunker, bay anchovies, and silversides. Striped bass, blues, and bottom fish are all active, and the albies are starting to show up in force. With cool nights and northeast winds, the bass fishing has been great, and surf, kayak, and boat fishermen have all been doing well. The bottom fishing is also heating up, making for a great second half of September.
