New Jersey Black Sea Bass Regulations for 2026 Season
The Atlantic States Marine Fisheries Council has finalized recreational management measures for the 2026 and 2027 black sea bass seasons, with a coastwide harvest liberalization of up to 20%. New Jersey's regulations will be set on March 26, with the Northern Region granted a 27% liberalization and the Southern Region allocated a 16.5% increase. The New Jersey Marine Fisheries Council meeting will take place at the Stafford Township Firehouse, where black sea bass and fluke regulations will be finalized.
