Alabama Pro Wins First Toyota Series Event at Pickwick Lake
Hayden O’Barr, a young Alabama pro, took the lead on Day 2 with nearly 27 pounds and closed it out in style with 25-10 on Day 3 for a 76-10 three-day winning total at the Toyota Series Central Division event on Pickwick Lake. O’Barr earned $70,081, including the Phoenix MLF Bonus, and locked in his qualification for the Toyota Series Championship. He made a desperate move to Bay Springs Reservoir, which paid off, and he absolutely crushed the competition, knocking out bags in the mid-20s every day.
