Angler Makes History with Wire-to-Wire Bass Pro Tour Win
Jacob Wheeler made history by winning the Bass Pro Tour event with a wire-to-wire victory, catching 42 pounds and 13 ounces of bass on Lake Brownwood. Wheeler's win marked a first for the Bass Pro Tour, as no Qualifying Round winner had ever gone on to win the event. He earned $125,000 for the victory and took over the lead in the Fishing Clash Angler of the Year race.
